Ownership Structure

The Sudanese Egyptian Bank (SEB) was established initially in August 2005 as a subsidiary of Piraeus Bank-Egypt.

In June 2006, Piraeus Bank sold its shares to Capella Management Investment and Lotus Management Investment which are two offshore companies registered in the British Virgin Island. These two companies are owned by Citadel Capital-Egypt and a major investment group from Abu Dhabi- UAE .

Citadel Capital has got investments all over the Arab World including Cement, Oil, Fertilizers and Finance Industries with an investment capital of more than US$ 5 billion.

In 2014 Citadel sold its shares to Tadamon Islamic Bank.
